The Armenian Cultural Association of South Australia proudly presents a special Tribute Concert celebrating the 100th anniversary of the legendary Charles Aznavour—a talent whose iconic voice, moving lyrics, and compassionate humanitarian efforts have touched lives around the globe.
While Aznavour is hailed as one of the greatest musical legends of France, his heart belonged to Armenia, where he actively supported his homeland. His lifelong dedication to the Armenian people made him a cultural ambassador, embodying the strength, resilience, and spirit of Armenians worldwide.
This special concert brings together an exceptional ensemble of professional musicians under the direction of the remarkable Minas Berberyan and features the talented tenor Tasso Bouyessis. Driven by their profound admiration for Aznavour’s legacy, they have carefully crafted each performance to capture the emotional depth, soul, and timeless beauty of his music, from “La Bohème” to the “Notting Hill” soundtrack’s “She“.
For Armenians around the world, Aznavour stands as more than just a singer—he is a powerful symbol of resilience, pride, and cultural heritage. Join us for this special event as we honor Charles Aznavour and relive the music that continues to inspire people around the globe.
